Upon receiving a text alert both a red and a white rotating beacon as well as a siren are activated. Both the lights and siren are then turned off after some set period of time. Lights and audio can be operated separately.
As this system is text activated it has the ability to be utilized in a number of different ways. For example, it could be activated indirectly via a real time acoustic receiver or via a direct text from a lifeguard or drone operator.
This is a very simple system that was designed and built in a minimal time frame. Actual equipment costs are less than a few thousand dollars.
